How to Add and Manage Content on Your Tribe App/Platform

Creating and managing content on your Tribe platform is essential, as it’s the main reason why people come to your site. This guide will help you understand how to add different types of content and organize them effectively.

Content in Tribe can take many forms:

• Video

• Live Stream

• Embedded Video

• Download Link

• Zoom Link

• Blog Post

• PDF Download

Each piece of content you create becomes its own page, which you can link to directly. You can also group multiple pieces of content into collections for better organization.

1. Access the Dashboard:

   • Log into your Tribe dashboard.

   • Click on the "Content" tab on the left.

   • Click "Add Content" in the top right.

2. Set Up Your Content:

   • Title: Give your content a title (e.g., "My First Post").

   • Publish Date: Set the publish date or leave it blank to use the current date and time.

   • Author: By default, it will be you, but you can assign it to another admin.

   • Collection: Assign the content to an existing collection or create a new one.

   • Visibility: Specify if the content should be available to a particular group.

3. Add a Featured Image:

   • Upload a featured image, which will be the thumbnail for your content.

4. Choose Content Type:

   • Upload Video: Highly recommended to use the platform's hosting for faster playback and cost efficiency.

   • Embed Video: You can embed videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, Searchie, and others.

1. Select a File:

   • Click "Upload Video" and select a file from your computer.

   • The video will be hosted on your platform, ensuring fast and efficient playback.

2. Enable Chat (Optional):

   • You can enable or disable chat for the video.

   • Click "Save".

   • Click the blue "View" button to go to the content page.

   • The featured image and video will appear, and you can play the video immediately.

   • The content page has a unique URL you can share with anyone.

• Instant Availability: Videos are available for playback immediately after saving.

• Optimization: Within 5 to 10 minutes, the videos will be optimized for better distribution, all done automatically behind the scenes.
