How to Create Your Group
Your app offers the option to create daily, weekly, and live events or challenges for users within your platform. These events can range from webinars to Q&A sessions, and can be a great way to engage and interact with your user base. By providing regular events, you can encourage users to return to your platform and participate in discussions, meetups, and other activities.
Additionally, events can be used to showcase new features or products, and can be a valuable tool for marketing and user acquisition. Overall, creating events is an effective way to build a vibrant and engaged community within your app.
This article will guide you through the process of adding users to your individual groups in your App to facilitate the information, events, and community that brings your users together!
Creating Your Group
Route to your Dashboard Website and click on the dashboard button in the top right corner.
Once in your dashboard, you will see a menu like this to the left of the screen, find ‘Groups’ and click on that button as indicated below
This will route you to a list of your platform groups that have already been created. If none have been created you will not see any in this list.
Click ‘Add Group’ to create a new group if the group you want to add users to has not been created yet
1. Give your group an easily identifiable name
2. Add the Featured Image for your group - this image may be available for all users to see whether they are added to the group or not depending on your platform settings
3. (Optional) Add a description that explains the purpose of your group
4. Set yourself as the group admin - this should add you to the group automatically, but if you are not, follow the steps in the article Manually Adding Users to a Group to add yourself.
Finally, add the Purchase Link where users will be routed to purchase access to your group
Add the App Website Link (will be provided to you) for web based users to access your app via a browser rather than downloading an app on their computer
